PDP Chairman Admits: Card Reader Issue Is Not Significant

Contrary to the insinuations by some PDP men that the Card Readers are responsible for their trashing by the APC thus far, the National Chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu, has said that the percentage of the technical hitches encountered with card readers during the accreditation is insignificant.

Mu’azu, who was accredited at his home in Boto, said there is no perfection in technology, adding that it's only Almighty God that can be perfect. He rejected calls for the cancellation of the use of Card Reader machines for the accreditation of voters.

Buhari Speaks: I Wont Accept Cancellation of Election Result

Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, General Mohammadu Buhari has warned that it would be unfair for anyone to contemplate the cancellation of the presidential polls following a few recorded hiccups in Card Readers, a situation which did not stop anyone from casting his/her vote.

He said that the challenges were very minor and as such did not affect the entire country.

New Survey confirms Buhari is Set to Win Presidential Election

The factors that underline why Buhari will likely win
This new survey reinforces our earlier position that the real story of the 2015 elections will not be so much about the scale of the likely victory in the presidential elections by Buhari, but about Goodluck Jonathan’s catastrophic loss of the 2011 coalition that propelled him to office. While the pool of swing voters in our earlier survey was as high as 23%, that number has now reduced to less than 5%. The last 6 weeks have been abysmal for Goodluck Jonathan’s electoral fortunes, as our results indicate that as many as 10 million largely undecided voters – about 23% of the participating electorate – have consolidated firmly behind Muhammadu Buhari.
